I always wanted my personal wedding to be on a deserted island…<\/span><\/h4>\n

Somewhere far down south where I would fly in my full family and friends to by private jet. We would rent a small hotel and have a lavish ceremony close to the beach complete with fire dancers, a few different flower walls, a champagne bar and endless rum punch cocktails (simple right??).<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>But working in this industry has made me realize that a destination wedding may not be the <\/span>only<\/span><\/i> way to get hitched after all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me take you through one of the most exquisite bridal stories I have had the pleasure to\u00a0partake in!<\/span><\/p>\n

Picture it: it was a perfect winter\u2019s day a little under 1 year ago.<\/h4>\n


\n<\/span>There was fresh snow on the ground but none falling, it wasn’t too cold either which made for perfect photoshoot conditions.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>We set out early in the morning to follow the artistic direction of Shadia Sallit and Francesca Micock<\/a> co-owners of Lily & Roses Exquisite Events.<\/a><\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>They had been communicating with the t<\/span>eam of vendors for a few weeks about an elegant\/rustic\/winter wedding concept they had in mind. <\/span><\/p>\n

After discussing the theme as well as the color palette for the shoot, I opted for\u00a0a simple smoked out liner, long lashes, and a peach pout.<\/span><\/p>\n

For hair, I was very inspired by equestrian hairstyles and opted for a low, curly ponytail.<\/span>
\n<\/span>My main focus for my bridal work is always skin: I need it to be fresh, dewy and youthful looking.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>In her specific case, I layered different Makeup Forever foundations as well as cream blushes to create the glow I wanted.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>I cannot end this article without speaking on the gorgeous gown our model wore. This was a bespoke piece by Boutique Champagne.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
